I was complacent and bold when sedated on rum.
Then deflated the sun when finally hatred begun.

Them ivory cages seem spun
when faced with raised hands you can't fold.
Can't fake it? Then make it contagious and run,
don't see 'til later your fate also changes your mom.
The struggle and hustle to be greater and fun
was a puzzle to throttle the engine I favored to none.
It's rough when the work on yourself is a labor of love
but all that you see is what you've failed to become.
A gravitational shift
was ordered before the morbid statement of "done".
Which meant distorted got sorted then cornered and killed
by the force behind doors of a strong yet tormented will.
Such a potent reveal when moments are real
and your omens choke on their hopeless ordeal.

Not to cope but I thought
it was dope that there's hope to me still.
Now I'm connected yet cordless and chill,
plus richer than ever!
