And yeah I'm working on the assumption that he existed and was god etc, because that's not even a necessary argument to have in order to show modern day Christians how contradictory their beliefs are to what Jesus actually did. He spent majority of his time on earth with the tax collectors and prostitutes etc, social outcasts that religious folk hated. Why wouldn't he do the same today?

Jesus was, quite intentionally, a non-political leader, and butted heads with people who tried to make it political action several times in the gospels.
He did use his teachings as a way to disobey the law and make what today would be deemed a political statement tho.

There is a very specific part in the gospels where he does that.

He was a political activist in the mould of ghandi, if he existed (Jesus, not ghandi, i've seen pics of him, dick pics) which is a big if.
