I ranted on facebook for a second yesterday:

I spent about 20 minutes listening to Limbaugh bitch about "Obamacare", and about how the dems are screwing everything, and how the online registration isn't running smoothly at all. It's the democrats fault he said; the Republicans didn't want it.

We know you didn't want it, but lemme break this down Rush; it ain't running smooth BECAUSE you don't want it, not the other way around. It is specifically because the republican party is refusing to let it run smoothly that it's all F(*&ed up. Let's be real; it's not the best interest of the American people that drives you, it's your own self-interest. It's the burning inside of you at the Democrats "winning" that is putting up the roadblocks in the gov.

It should never of been about republicans or democrats winning; it should ALWAYS be about the people winning. The affordable care act has passed congressional muster. That means that the American PEOPLE, at least those that vote, want it. All the talk about republicans need to oppose the dems is straight BULLSHIT. That opposition takes place before the bill is passed; that's what system of checks and balances is for. To ensure that anything coming from the house and senate is hammered out and polished so that it best serves the American people. As soon as the bill is passed, the time for opposition is gone. At that point, it is the responsibility of ALL parties involved to sit down, and work TOGETHER to make sure everything runs smoothly. Any lack of support at that point, and opposition at that point, isn't against the democrats; it's against US. Anything else reeks of bitterness on your part and the part of your entire party. Especially since you wanted it in the 90’s, when the healthcare reform that the act is based on was introduced by the republicans. If it’s such a shitty plan, then why propose it in the first place? If it’s such a bad idea, then why are you so afraid to let it go into effect?

The answer is simple…republicans aren’t afraid of it failing. AS I said before, this entire government is serving it’s own self interest…this act failing would work WONDERS for the republican party. No…it’s not the failure of the act that the republican party is trying to prevent, it’s the success of it. Because if this act succeeds, the democrats “win” again.

And ALL of this is moot anyway. It’s a blinder…popping smoke on the frontlines. The fact of the matter is, and this is what pisses me off the most, it costs 3 grand for an angioplasty in Germany…15 grand in the U.S. 1100 dollars for an MRI that runs you 3 bills in bloody Spain. A 30 dollar angiogram in Canada costs you NEARLY A GRAND in the U.S. How about we focus on firing “charge masters” in every hospital in the U.S., rather then allowing hospitals have someone on payroll commit blatant fraud by itemizing, and subsequently marking up, every single item and procedure in the hospital? How about we not allow the Medical industry to remain a for profit one; how about we pass legislation that DOESN’T ALLOW YOUR POLITCAL PARTIES to be bribed to the tune almost 6 billion dollars a year by said industry.

How about that?

How about we focus less on WHO pays the exorbitant medical bills in this country, and focus more on WHY those bills are so exorbitantly priced in the first damn place. Because I for one would be able to pay my own damn bills if it didn’t cost me 90 fucking dollars for a band-aid and a lollipop.

And THAT Mr. Limbaugh, is being "real" about the situation.

Also, hate monger, it's not Obama's responsibility to do things for black people. That attitude only perpetuates racism in America; which is especially dangerous in a country where classism is the real issue. It's his responsibility to shift the balance for EVERYBODY; to even the field so that you can do for your damn self as readily as anybody else can. THAT is equality.

Basically...stop looking for a fucking hand out kid.
