This is a simple request, really... lol
Check it.. get 2 packs of Beef flavored noodles.. or Roast Beef.. depending on what kind of meat u have in the fridge.. u MAY need to roll w/ Chicken, or Creamy Chicken.. OR Shrimp/Oriental(last resort).
Take the 2 packs of Beef or Roast Beef & bust em' open.. bring water to a boil.. throw them bitches in there.. cook for about 5 mins.. turn off the stove.. let em sit a min & soak up some water & swell up.. U'll need:
- 1 summer sausage OR 2 slim jim/jack links beef sticks
- About 6-8 saltine crackers(u can also substitute Ritz crackers I've found, not bad imo)
- A small handful of shredded cheese, or a slice or 2 of whatever u have.. DO NOT use the processed American cheese slices.. they are shit for a noodle.
- a dash of black and/or cayenne pepper (depending on ur spicyness level)
- Ur fav bottle of hot sauce(use to taste)
Now... if u go the Chix or Shrimp/Oriental route it would be because u don't have the beef meat(sausage or slim jim).. U will need to replace that w/ a can of chunk light tuna or canned chix breast meat.. drain in can or get the pouch.. either way's fine.
After u've cooked the noodles & let them soak for a min or 2.. drain them in the sink.. leave a LITTLE bit of water if u desire.. too much will sog the meal tho. Bring back to stove(keep burner off, u don't need anymore heat.. if u do want it extra super hot tho.. keep it on simmer/low for this last part of the process).. take ur meat & add it to the noodles.. stir.. add ur seasoning packet + the spices(black & cayenne pepper) & shredded cheese.. STIR.. now.. crush up the saltines or Ritz & crumble them over top of the stirred product to give it that good crunch.
Scoop/slide it to a big ass bowl.. FINALLY.. add those glorious dashes of hot sauce to ur noodle & PRESTO! U have a banging ass meal that will surely fill ur gut.
Also, nderstand that it's OK to use potato chips, cheetos, doritos, or fritos in place of the crackers... it's just mostly I prefer crackers. Always have.
Lastly, I wanna confirm Rawn as being a noodle & goulash specialist that has put me thru rigorous training & test cooks to come up w/ the best & most tasty recipes. His field experience goes a long way, & as my noodle mentor, I cosign & highly recommend anyone take his teachings & advice in order to make some of the best cheap meals in the United States of America today.
Thanks, yo.
