What kind of animals would you like to own? (Realisticly)

Currrently I have a Brendel Boxer, and also one of my people (a female) that I live with has a Toy Poddle. We also have a cat, which we took in as a stray kitten (it kept meow'ing outside our door for food/milk) of which I would speculate by her looks is of the Aegean Cat breed - but she may likely be a mix (we're not sure, bc of how we got her.)

Boxers are dope dogs btw...

My personal favorite breed of dog is the Cane Corso tho by far...and I plan on getting one once I have a big enough house. They are beasts! Problem is like I said, you need a lot of space bc of their size, and they have a bad rap temperment wise (a couple in San Fran caught manslaughter charges bc their dog, a Cane Corso, basically mutilated an animal control officer, which caused a huge fuss)...and home owners insurance rarely covers them. Moreover, I live in South Florida where they have made owning Pitt Bulls illegal for the most part, so I can only imagine the legal hoops Im going to have to leap through when it becomes time.

Im not to big of a cat person, however I wouldn't mind getting either a Bengal, Jaguarundi Curl, Savannah, Serengeti or Bristol (in that order)- they're are a few other domestic/wild hybrids available, just not as aesthetically appealing to me-... and preferably like an F1 or F2 -F1 being first generation of hybridization meaning mostly wild...F4 being the final generation of hybridization meaning mostly domestic, and safe <in relative terms.> (This is as close to getting a 'big cat' without the chance of getting mauled, and needing to cage it 24/7 possible)....but thats only if I decided I would like a cat...I prefer dogs anyday. However, these wild/domestic hybrids are more succeptable to health problems with their eyes and hearts; furthermore, worse then their fierce idea of playfulness and curiosity, they have a tendency to urinate frequently, in order to mark territory and spread their scent.

Other animals I'd like to have, would consider, or plan on getting are...well once the construction is complete at my house we are getting a large salt water aquarium, so that'll be dope...few small sharks, rays, lion fish, eals, ect...but to me fish are more aesthetic then a 'pet' per say...(you can't handle or 'pet' a fish.) But we have not decided the specific inhabitants of said aquarium, just engaged in a broad discussion, and we still need to decide on the amt of gallons. But those named above are very likely candidates.

What I do want, and have wanted for a while now is a Green Tree Python Chondro Morph...those things are so dope...tempermentally they can be mean, esp if u stop holding them for a while, but they don't grow to large and aesthetically color morphology is sick...depending on the color they are born with u can get like a yellow, red, orange, or teal (i want the teal one tbh) snake...they are a little pricey though (as are all the previous animals mentioned.) Id also consider an Emerald Tree Boa, but they get larger and have 3 inch fangs (not fangs really bc they are not venomous, but shape wise..yeah) I'd like to get a Gaboon or Horned Viper, but thats not to realistic or even a good idea.

Other types of animals I'd consider, but dont have a real desire for are: Iguana's - I've owned them in the past, and they're pretty cool...but sometimes MEAN as fuck (tail whips.) There are Marine Iguana's, which have bluish tinted scales - which would be exotic and dope, but i dont think they'll fair as well in captivity as their land dwelling cousins (Ive actually seen these being from South Fla...I think they are indigenous to here and Cuba.) Monitors are dope, but they get huge and unlike iguanas are carniverous...and chameleons are also pretty dope, they're real chill and the whole color change is a dope trait, but typically they don't do to well in captivity, and their lifespan is shortend drastically...plus reptiles aren't exactly smart LOL..so its probally not a good idea to have like a 5 ft carniverous lizard around, whose temperment isn't that great to begin with (Monitors.) I personallly have no real intrest in bearded dragons, and in fact i think they look ugly, and they can't be removed from their cage really, so not so good as a pet...plus u gotta constantly be buying bugs n sht...the other lizards are either more vegitarian/omniverous or larger carnivores..so ur talking food larger then crickets n sht.
Plus, with the exception of the chameleon which is just cool to look at and chills, the other lizards can grow fairly large, while in comparision the bearded dragon does not reach such size.

Turtles/tourtises are alright...but they are kinda like fish in a sense to me. They don't do much...When I was younger I usta have a buncha baby turtles...a Musk, a few Softshell's, a few Snapping and a bunch of Red Eared if memory serves correct. (They are illegal to buy tho, I was only able to get em bc moms was a science teacher at the time) They were cool though...I also had a few Tourtises as well, (Box Tourtises I think) same deal...but, I have no real desire to get either one again, unless i get a FRESH water fish tank, which I do not plan on doing.

I have no real intrest in frogs, toads, newts or salamanders as pets. The later I suppose would be cooler to have, but I dont see them doing to well in captivity, and the former...well unless ur making poison darts for a blow gun I see no purpose. Besides amphibians skin is kinda slimy, and I wouldn't see myself handling them.

I'm not big on rodents at all really (hamsters, gerbals, mice, rats, even guinea pigs) rather feed em to the snake. Ferrits are cool and kinda playful, but also tend to stink. The albino ones are cool though. Hedgehogs are kinda dope as well. But all in all not for me...plus maintance (cleaning and food) is crazy for all these.

Rabbits are like big rodents to me...same story only worse...They shit EVERYWHERE, and constantly need to be cleaned up after. Some owners will sware they warm up to ppl and are great pets...not from my expierience. I had an ex gf who had rabbits, big ones too, she went out of town and asked me to look after and feed/water them...I was all like alright sure. She instructed me that I was to let it out for a little bit bc they need exercise and to jump around instead of being couped up in the cage all day...so i did exactly that...only the fuckin rabbits wouldnt go back in the cage...i had to chase these fuckin jumping monstrosities (they were a special larger breed of rabbit) around the room, and then they disapeared under the bed...going under the bed to retrieve the rabbits i was kicked and clawed like a mufucker, n those things are strong n fast af, i finally grabbed em one by one by their ears and nape of the neck, secured their hind legs and retured em to the cage. This arduous task took like 3 hours and I had bleeding cuts up and down my arms...of course i told my gf @ the time when she got home, and she was all like 'u musta done somethng wrong...thts never happened to me." Not to mention littlbie balls of shit were EVERYWHERE. Fuck rabbits.

And fuck a bird too. Growing up I had a Parakeet for a bit (he was given to me as a gift,) and that thing was mean af. When its feathers started molting u couldn't go near the damn thing, and it made a huge mess, and it wouldnt eat ...then since u couldnt touch the bird, u couldnt clip its wings..so when i finally went to let the damn thing out..it flew and started like dive bombing me..needless to say, I opened up the patio door and let the damn thing fly away lol...moreover, my friends dad had a cockatoo and that fuckin thing shit whereever it wanted, and would squalk throughout the night non-stop...I suppose a parrot would be cool, their smart and can mimic humans, but ill pass on the birds..

I'm not even going to talk on Monkeys...Capuchin's and Marmasets look cute, but those things can be viscious as fuck...bite, piss, and throw sht @ u. Seen it first hand.. Ill pass...plus they need A LOT of care and attention or shit will go real bad, real fast. Not to mention monkeys experience their 'teens' like humans, meaning rebellion...and the last thing I want is a fuckin smart, fast, strong, sharp-toothed monkey rebelling...esp since monkeys tend to strike at the face and genitals, primarilly. (As seen with pet chimpanzee's that go wrong and attack their masters.)

The only other animal I'd consider getting is an Emperor Scorpion, just bc they look cool and upkeep is minimal...but thats as far as ill go with bugs or archnids. No Tarentulla's, millipeds, none of that sht. Hermit Crabs are alright, but they never really intrigued me.

What animals have u had, have or want? And what have u learned from those expierences?

Btw, In addition to what I've mentioned I've had a Shetland Sheep Dog (looked like Lassie,) a German Shepherd, a Rottweiler, a Persian Cat, a hamster, plenty of freshwater fish, and an Albino Corn Snake throughout the years.

tbh i feel Shepherds =smartest breed for the utility...but man a Cane Corso is like a mastiff sized pitt Lol...anything thats bred to fight lions is a beast imo.

i just can't trust em yo. they arent normal dogs. like people label pits as bad vicious dogs, which is retarded. pits are awesome dogs. friendly loving good with family and all that.

but everything i've read on cane corso's are kinda bad NEWS BRO. very aggressive, even in a social enviornment, raised the right way, they're crazy jealous. want all your attention and murk the shit out of people. but word they arent pits to my knowledge. they are distinctly there own breed.

im mainly just down with german shepherds because i was raised with them. i had a 120 lb one, named DINO. like dee no. not die no. but word. dino spumoni was a G. scares black people. lol noracism. defends the HOME. great with kids. they can be climbing on him like a horse. pulling on his ears and whiskers he wouldnt give a fuckkk

he was aggressive to animals tho. he killed a BIRD. how i dunno. but he was eating one in my backyard one day. like a regular bird yo. mustve not realized it could FLY. but word and he died of kidney failure. i think it was a combo of eating steaks and getting hit by a station wagon. he went after a pit, i was like 12 walking him. this dude dragged me like ten feet before i just let go of the leash like fuck it. ran across the street, SCREECH boom. he flys like 10 feet, rolls, and gets back up. starts BANGIN with this pit bull. i get there pull em apart. skins hanging off this pits face. dino da god's nose was split. but word the pit was like in slow motion with big dumb chomps missing. dino was snappin on him. like mayweather. quick and efficient

but word RIP.

funny thing tho...my shephard was the same way towards blk ppl too...and id have blk friends come over, once they were inside the house he was cool...but outside the house he did not like blk ppl...and to make matters worse...the dogs name was 'Blackie' and I was living in not the best apt complex too...smh.

my buddy has a female blue nose i took care of for a few months while he was in basic and just had a litter but I don't really want one, pure breed got to many health problems
