We was all in a herd with separate jobs
To clawed through the dirt together as one
We ventured with promise seizing the day
With the best and the strongest leading the way
Eager to make it to the top of the pile
I proceeded to rake as the rocks had compiled
Adopting a cycle to the pace we’d climb
And plot our arrival once we saw the ray of light
We plunged to greater heights with the rubble shaking
A sudden blaze had shined as a chunk was taken
We was all elated as we Clambered on up
Forward facing we travelled through dust
Having to struggle our eyesight was poor
but we battled and rumbled and united we soared
So delighted we stormed in, aligned on the same path
But our excitement was short lived, arising on wasteland.
