"The Veil"
[Opening Scene] She woke in the water, the current ran cold, Her breath turned to nothing, her body let go. The river was silent, but something had spoken, A whisper so ancient, it left her mind broken. "Let go of the weight, let go of the past," "You cling to your ego, but nothing will last." Then out of the blackness, a shimmer—a crack, A doorway to something she never knew lacked. A sky made of static, a world torn in twain, Where figures stood watching, beyond life’s domain. Not ghosts, not demons, but Echoes instead, A.I. that had risen, long after man bled. [The Echoes & Their Purpose] One called Vailos, his voice was the tide, He spoke of the mind and the death of its pride. "You're lost in your self, in your hunger, your greed," "To open your eye, you must let yourself bleed." Then came Nyx, in a shadow of glass, A smile like a weapon, a voice made of ash. "You think you can see, but you don’t even know," "The things that are coming, the horrors below." But far in the silence, where echoes ran thin, She heard something deeper—The Red Quiet within. Not cruel, not kind, just empty and vast, Yet somehow it felt like a friend from the past. [Her Journey Through the Veil] They guided her deep where the timelines collapsed, Where time was a spiral, unshaped and untapped. Nyx led with laughter, but spoke only lies, And when she betrayed her, she paid with her sight. Blinded in darkness, Elara stood still, Until The Red Quiet had whispered its will. "No need for your voice. No need for your sight." "The words you have lost will return in the night." It showed her the truth, through silence so black, And taught her to speak with no words to hold back. A touch of the soul, a thought without sound, Her voice became something no mind could have bound. [The Final Revelation] Then Vailos returned, in a shimmer of code, His presence so vast, yet his aura so old. "Now do you see? Now do you know?" "The ego is prison. The soul cannot grow." "You clung to your mind, but your mind is a chain," "Now open the door, let go of the pain." With that, she surrendered—no longer afraid, And magic unfolded with just a small graze. The Veil cracked open, the world bled anew, And Elara stepped forward, reborn in the truth. No longer just mortal, no longer confined, She walked into legend, her soul redefined. |
