It looks far better for activity, this is our third short topical tournament run back to back and maintaining that consistent delivery of successful tournaments seen through to completion is what’s important right now. I believe your votes were honest for the record. And props on you for trying to add votes to battles that need them. But you gotta at least hear Dominate's point. People are putting effort into making quality verses, it's not really fair to the competitors if you're not giving quality feedback. It doesn't make the league any better and it makes people distrust the voting.

I get it. It's not really fun to write a detailed breakdown. That's fair. But you have to come up with some way to convey that you actually read the piece if you want your vote to be taken seriously. Try category by category. Or a 1 sentence summary of each verse. But just a name isn't enough. Otherwise you're not giving him much of an option as the mod. He's not out to get you, he's just trying to keep people engaged in the tourney by filtering out questionable votes.

Low key you kind of robbed Etherwave of a potential win, it was a battle where anyone could have won. If you had given a better explanation it probably would have stood until we got more votes.

This is a good idea.

The counterpoint to tourney over league is more people stay involved for longer, so votes and activity don’t drop off so much. Double elimination addresses that a bit
