Default Has Hip Hop contributed to your homophobic language/view / in general?

Just interested in your thoughts / views.

One of the most apparent things since return to this forum the past week and this overabundant use of the word 'faggot' and describing something as 'gay' as being a bad thing.

I've noticed in real life the two most common people I meet who still speak like this are ignorant idiots who have barely socialised outside their immediate circles and have a strong conservative / limited understanding experience of the world.

The other is people in hip hop. I use to be the same as a teenager and I'm sure listening to the billions disses sub consciously had an influence.

I work in the arts and so many of my colleagues are gay and it just reminds me how ignorant/negative I once was. I never use the word faggot now or describe something as gay when I think its stupid.

Discuss / insecure people accuse me of being gay.
