another prozac popped, by god -its a sad day
and my cigarette butts have flooded the ashtray
a tidal wave of mavericks, matches and ashes
And that cotton like fabric, thats stuffed in its ass end
I was like you once, had friends, a life and the wealth
and now i cant stand, even, the very sight of myself
theres a dark feeling you get, you feel the effects
when the kids wanna play, but your really depressed

Despare, recluse, he moves with the sun
Rays reflect, pitch a tint in the room, he sits up
a hint of midnight thickens in the corner, it lives
Shape shifts to fit the shadows, twisting its limbs
trims itself, rides the prisms and grows in depth
undetected, over his shoulders, so close to success
senses go peculiar, he sees a vivid depiction
peripheral visions limited, he spins as he squinted

its only you, old friend, i shouldve known who it was
death, this game of cat and mouse grows older than us
my time is closer to up, ive always known you to wait
aquaintances came and they went, cant we go separate ways
silly of me, to think youd find a soft spot in your heart
for all the times ive called your name out, blindly, or lost
after all the years gone, you let me slide, i hated you more
you want to take me, as i understand what you created me for

A dark day awaits, a glass of waters been poured
a drink at a time, it dries, what you drinkin it for
of course, its hard to accept, that one lifes what you got
you live and you learn, and die ignorant, wither, and rot
Ive seen it all, a lot of anger been born of my pain
They wont remember shit though, and thats sort of shame
No legacy here, broken wings, never figured them out
We all die in the end. The happy, and the miserable crowd

This was pretty legit for a warm up verse. I enjoy dedicated Geno
I'm sure you became aware of who you were up against and wrote a more fitting piece
as for this the flow from the beginning is on some classic Geno shit
the way you grasp onto the concept was interesting at first
but after the second verse I felt it detoured and went off track
that's a personal opinion of course. either way nice work my dude.
