I strongly disagree. This lil Wayne song isn’t as easily relatable and the overall theme of the two songs are completely different.

This Eminem song is good. Better than anything on MMLP2. It’s more of the same subject matter he’s been spitting for years, but this song sounds like him growing into it. It’s the sentiment he touched on at the end of MMLP2’s opening track. He sounds grown up and okay with it.

The scheme is spectacular as usual. A few times I feel like he sacrificed scheme for content, but that’s Em.

This song is better than previous efforts because he sounds comfortable in his current place. Is he right about his legacy and how people think he's washed up now? I don't really think so. I think it's just some sort of trope he's decided to run with for this song or maybe album. The dude (Em) is not very diverse, but he seems to be tackling the subject matter from a more grown up place. It's not as scatterbrained. Not saying it's the best song in the fucking world, but it's good.

Ehhh - didn't like it much - lyrically it was decent. I hated the instrumental/piano thing and Beyonce hook was boring as fuck. Sounded like something heard during a Sunday night Mass, tbh.

Legit this is the worst Em song I've heard. The subject matter is stupid. You only walk on water when it's ice? You're only human? Awesome. Super deep and corny. Then, no beat. Ok that's fine... But the fact it's no beat but YOU'RE STILL YELLING. Em's been SCREAMING for the last 5 albums hoping it makes it sound doper. That doesn't have the same effect if you don't have bars like original MMLP. This shit is trash and anyone who likes it is trash. This is 100 percent "love the way you lie" sell out tactic 2.0.
