Lol true but everybody is different in their dependence/uncontrollable habit of fapping. When porn and jacking off is a 5 times a day thing then a while of abstinence is needed. Plus if you edging and it becomes a sex replacement then maybe taking awhile from it can get dopamine levels back up.
