Cocoa fields alive with passion,
Vibrant colored pods: time to grab 'em.
Slave farmers cannot try to fathom
Sometimes hungry lives and rations,
Birds eye view of their grime contrasted,
Their hard work and plight surpassing.
Miles away, dinner plates, lights, and fashion!

Cocoa is forever!
They won't leave in the night.
I've no fear that they might,
Dessert me.

Light extraction, the seeds removed.
Clean and smooth but is it even food?
Not even sweet to chew,
The wet cocoa beans are moved.
If you leave it for one week it proves,
Boxed and hidden in a secret room.
Fermented pulp they keep for booze.
The remaining dried beans sleep and brood.
