Remember to tighten the abs as you do these, it makes the muscles work harder in the end makes the work-out much easier.
I personally don’t put the hands behind the neck due to the risk of a neck/strain. Cross my chest, or keep my hands extended and throw some jabs at my knees. I also elevate my legs at about 45 degrees so my entire core feels the burn, lol. |

Ideally placing your hands behind the head would prevent you from swinging your arms to gain momentum and force you to isolate the abdominal muscles as the prime mover
But as the assholes that humans are we just use our hands to yank the body up by the top of the head compressing the neck lol Should have to hold hands behind head without touching it tbc |
