Yeah, my standard answer is "When the Levee Breaks." But at any given moment it could be something else. "When the Levee Breaks" works because anyone who knows music should know it, but it's not obvious, and it really is an amazing song that I love.

That was my answer when I was 19. Not trying to be condescending. It's probably the best "rock" song ever.

Well, not really. I really do prefer the Rolling Stones to Zeppelin. And there are a couple Stones songs that are better than Levee. Maybe?

idk

Same for me. I've been recycling the answer for years.

If it really came down to what song I connect emotionally to the most, I don't even know what I'd have to answer. But "When the Levee Breaks" is the go-to because I'm so impressed with it every time. "Lost in the Supermarket" or "Backstreets," maybe?

Two songs that I absolutely love that are kind of weird for someone of my age: J. Geils Band's "Centerfold" and Benny Mardones' "Into the Night." Assuming you know the former, here's the latter (and its spectacularly creepy music video):

Alcohol does it to ypu. Its alcohol paranoia, like the side effects of almost any drug... it's a clinically accepted fact.

Im fucking hungover too.

Since alcohol stimulates, amongst other things, the receptors that are geared towards anti-anxiety neurotransmitters it causes, after somewhat long-term use where you drink to the point of intoxication at least semi-regularly, an anxiety-reduction deficiency because it is an 'outer' agent - your brain reconfigures to get used to this supplied liquid courage. Withdrawal from any given drug basically amounts to the opposite of their positive effects (if you're a opiate junkie for example and used to artificial pain reduction, you will become abnormally sensitive during withdrawal).

Psychologically paranoia is anxiety's louder cousin - whereas anxiety is simply fear without any concrete foundation, paranoia is fear that sticks to anything.

Your rhyme scheme fell off about three-quarters of the way through.

Also, specifically for picture topics. I'm sure it can be great fun to grab all these fantasy-like pictures from whatever art-school emo with autism and suicidal tendencies deviant-art page you can find, but consider using more normal pictures perhaps?Even if it's just as a change of pace. I mean when you have a picture of a unicorn ridden by some knight atop a castle with a rainbow skull for a face, it kind of limits your options in a way. It's easier to write fantasy stuff if you want to about a normal picture, but it's pretty difficult to write normal stuff about a fantasy picture.
