Drifting silently, hopping over bishops and knights
The queen moves with ambition and might

Dude, I don't care how fucking good you are at chess you don't KNOW you'll checkmate someone in more than two moves. Bladed Thesis is right, though. You should be setting up traps all game and feeling out how an opponent will react to those traps so that you can feel the success of a checkmate coming as soon as you start your final trap. Of course Zenland is right, too, that a good opponent may sniff out the checkmate and avoid it by making a move against his or her own nature.

I've always rated him more as an attacking player than a defensive player, kinda like Glen Johnson for England, tho he is better at defending than Johnson....the only problem being he is getting older and I dunno if he would have the legs to play that position for a full season, but he's looking good right now. i thought he was leaving Utd but apparently he will be staying so it will be interesting to see what Louis Van Gaal does with him.
