Yep, know this feeling all too well.

I've experienced it maybe 3 times in my life, but it's surreal. Can't move a muscle, speak, or do anything. Your eyes can move around the room, but that's about it. After a minute or two (which feels like an eternity) your body starts to come to, and you get a hold of all of your functions again. Can't speak for everyone that has had it, but for me personally it always happens when I fall asleep on my back. I go to sleep on my side now and haven't had it, since. Never experienced a sleep paralysis-hallucination thing though, however do have sleep apnea , too.

The only experience I've had with hallucinations around sleeping was when I was on my bed with my back towards my TV, I left it on. I was half asleep and the TV projects a light over my wall, but as I stared at the wall it started to turn black, even though I still see the TV's light on behind me. Went back to normal after blinking a few times.

I've experienced similar phenomena before, but not to that extent.

I've experimented w/ induced lucid dreams/astral projections and it is not something I would recommend for the faint of heart. Started on a forum thread like this one and it had a brick of text explaining how to do it. Tried it, never experienced anything like it since or before

Sleep paralysis is a... common side effect

It is a dream, in essence. Although not the best description, it is almost a world that you can control. In a lucid dream, you are aware that you are in a dream and you can manipulate your decisions. A step further takes it to the point that you can interpret every detail around you and are actively aware of your existence within that. OBE's/projections are breaking the glass.

I've never pushed myself to that extent. I quit trying when I felt like I was... changing for the worst.

I'm not the best at describing it but I can try to find that thread somewhere. Words of warning are laced throughout, as I remember.

Lucid dreams are quite common and happen often throughout childhood particularly

Fun fact: any face you see in a dream, you have seen irl, if only in passing. Human brain isn't capable of creating human faces or some shit

astral projection is when your spirit travels through the astral realm.. or spirit realm... science calls it remote viewing, and it was actually funded and utilized by the cia. rs.

wise man once told me this is where the real battle is taking place.. through astral projection thoughts can be placed into our subconscious mind.. so what seems like impulsive and sudden urges to do something actually are well placed thoughts manifesting themselves. yes, just like inception. except symbols are an integral part because there has to be something to link the subconscious memory that has been placed to that moment in the reality you are viewing that activates said thought.. enter sacred symbolism & geometry.

heavy duty shit lol..

I hear if you stay calm enough during those stages you could astral project. I've gotten far enough to hear loud ringing noses , and this feeling like everything is shaking. It's weird I stopped trying after that but ever since that day my sleep paralysis has gotten worse. I be surprised if there is not one single week I don't go through sleep paralysis now shit sucks tbh

what im describing is similiar to de-ja-vu.. at that point in time somethin triggered you to recall what you had previously projected in a dream. whether it was the words spoken, the smell, the emotion you felt, or everything as a whole.. you suddenly go aha I dreamed this without even being able to recall when or what dream it actually was or if u even rlly dreamed it because the connection is made subconsciously and wasnt triggered until it manifested in reality.

same rules govern thoughts placed through the astral realm.. something in this reality has to link your subconscious mind to this moment in reality in order to bring the thought out of the subconscious and in to the forefront of your mind.

yes.. but also theres advanced routes for those that are truly adept. most times the one providing the suggestive speaking, imagery, symbolism is also under a state of mind that has been suggested to them via the subconscious or if you will, the astral realm.

This is what I meant by induced. But the sleep paralysis effect often comes because the person tries to "wake up" too soon. It takes a tremendous amount of peace and patience.

Initially I mean, that's interesting that it has increased your sp since. I can't/won't sleep on my back anymore

remote viewing, astral projection, hypnotism

are all one in the same describing a phenomenon that is so ancient in nature the sumerians, egyptians, and mayans were able to use it to understand space in a way we still dont today without ever having to build a rocket, use a telescope or physically step foot off this planet.

Religion is the best example of astral projected inception there is.. well placed strategical thoughts over centuries that have caused more deaths and division then your mind will ever comprehend.
