To answer your question about the two brains problem; you'd be dead, most likely. What constitutes "you" is essentially that - the combination of an insurmountable number of microscopic and macroscopic components.

In other words, the self is a completed puzzle. Ergo, an incomplete puzzle cannot be the self.

You seem to be confused, isolating consciousness as distinct from the body. This is not the case. The body came first, not consciousness.

If consciousness was physical that would imply that we are nothing but neurons encoded into our brains. SO well if thats true if IF hypothetically speaking I was to have one half of brain in one body and another half in another body. Who would I be?

You can switch a brain but you cannot switch awareness so awareness cannot be part of our brain.

there is no situation where someones brain was split in two and had both halves of their brains put into two bodies tho

We are in control...it is YOUR subconscious making that decision, it comes from YOUR mind, based on knowledge and experiences that YOU have gathered, how are you not in control?

Subconsciousness is not another mind or another you...all of it is you, consciousness and subconsciousness is a by-product of having a brain, you seem to think that because these things happen automatically it must mean it is separate from the brain, but it is just another part of your brain...without the physical brain, consciousness or subconsciousness does not exist.

Yes but it is still your physical brain making that decision, how does that go any way in proving that consciousness isn't physical?

Consciousness is just a by-product of the brain, it is how the brain sends instructions and messages, once the brain is gone so is any consciousness it had been producing because it is no longer being powered by the mind.
