He was a very private man, and I bet he knew who to trust in terms of friendships etc. Friends of his probably helped the family with that. Not hearing from MF Doom in a while wouldn't be a strange thing either.

I find it difficult trying to explain the allure of Doom to ppl that aren’t in the know

He is an anomaly . But he’s definitely not a trash rapper . He’s garnered the adoration of elite mcs for such reasons
