iono a lot of spokens shit was just loose associations...with strange wording. most especially the opener...it was sooo vague. im sure u meant when he looked in the mirror..but u left it up to us to make the association.

shadow box was just weird. I get it. like ace ventura on the projector but the box part was missing in the tie in.

Spoke you have the right idea but your saying it wrong. Like the e harmony line makes sense technically, but it only works one way and that way is considered a stretch. The high end buy treatment and the opener were worded funny too. I liked shadow box and e trade but questionable wording overall hurt you.

Tied in quotes. TBH, this was close. E's bars are generic as fuck but his bars are nicely worded and to the point where Spoke's a little more creative and isn't so good at delivering his concepts in a harsh manner. I liked that shadow box concept, even tho I've seen a few but your execution was horrible, bro. It was soft as if YOU were the one actually doing exactly what you claimed your opponent was doing, if that makes any sense. You need to flip your concepts a few times and select the harsher and cleaner version. Wording and execution kills you, bro. That's definitely the only thing holding you back from progressing man. You have some decent'ish concepts but your execution hinders the effectiveness/potential of your concepts to land harshly. The bar quoted, is what I am referencing and or can use for an example. Cool concept with a nice delivery/execution. Rest, not so much. I've told you on several occasions, write your concepts down a few times in different forms. Always select the harsher one that actually insults your opponent.

I voted for spoken only due to the fact he had the only real punch in his 4th bar…. Everything else was a light jab… nothing spectacular in this battle. I was looking for some haymakers and got disappointed here… maybe it’s the short bar style yall got going on.. but setups were weak.. and punches lack creativity except for Spokens 4th bar… Props to both for trying.. keep writing… think outside the box when coming up with punches… throw in some word play.. and some multies… both got potential though.

well, e obv has a much better grasp on txt battling. his hits were better executed and had more impact. spoken had some cool and fresh ideas but needs to work on the execution. mb read some more battles to see how more experienced battlers do it. so yea. marcus mariota line won it for e. rash wasnt bad easier. spoken had e trade, but the rest still needed a bit of work. but yo if spoke sticks around and learns how to use his ideas effectively, he cud be gd. e just did enough to win i spose. seen better from him iirc.
