I was thinking about how I would handle that type of challenge. There are letter frequency counters available on the Internet, but I think I would have done something a bit more organic: taken a small piece of tape, crumbled it a bit and put it on the letter I wasn't allowed to use, so that every time I hit it, I would be instructed to choose a different word.

I really liked this challenge, and I think I would have enjoyed any of them. But I can see why others would find it frustrating.
