New little text series ima do for all the horror heads. There’s gonna be 3 sections. Lenox Approved films. Lenox Reccomemded films. Films you should probably avoid. Here’s VOL. 1’s set of films.

LENOX APPROVED:
(1). You were never really here.
A really great film about ptsd & child slavery. HiredGun/HitMan
A problem I had about the film is how hard they tried to be artsy. Some of the art scenes seem kinda forced, like everything has to be a metaphor. Very dope film overall. LINK: https://www1.gomovies.film/movie/never-really-2017-13/

(2). Ravenous
A Dope French zombie/post apocalyptic film. No complaints here.

LENOX RECOMMENDED

(1). A quiet place
A good debut directory film by John Krazinsky (The Office)
he’s good in this, along with Emily blunt. The child actors were whatever. They did their job. A lotta great tension, but cheap jump scares and an abrupt cliffhanger ending. It left me with no choice to tally off a couple of points. There is a sequel in the makes. I have the upmost confidence that John will fix his mistakes. & I’m predicting AQP sequel we’ll be the best horror movie sequel in some years. (2). Super Dark Times
This really was unsettling, and was disturbing asf without feeling forced. Incredible teen acting. They also do a great job with themeing the movie in the 90’s. Dope flick. LINK: Netflix

Haven’t seen any films yet this year that we’re awful. I’m sure vol 2 will have some. If you watch(ed) any of these, lmk your thoughts

i want to get into this genre more but the only thing that is SPOOKY to me is ghost/demon things. i mean im as susceptible to a jump type scare as anyone but the only thing that actually makes me feel weird entering/exiting dark rooms is good demonic GHASTLY nonsense.

i never understood the gore and murderer type horror movies. like oh the monster is a regular human? wtf this does nothing for me.

One of my favorite demonic possession movies is the devil inside & the last exorcist. Check em out if you haven’t already

Only legit frightening horror movies come from Japan.

Lars horror is all gore and no substance and this stuff Lenox posted is American teenager spooky.

i like transgressive/extreme/disturbing shit tbh. ive seen a lot so it takes something out of the ordinary to really get me...

if you tell me some movies you're into, i'll give you good recommendations

lmao I'd say that's a pretty ignorant view tbh, I'm probably the biggest horror/world cinema fan here and with how broad my vast collection is (10,000+ movies and counting) ive seen more than enough to have an informed opinion of whats out there worldwide from the underground to the mainstream

but again, tell me the names of some movies you liked and i'll give you recommendations on more stuff to check out

It’s no hate towards you, I just hate those films and there isn’t really a logical reason for them existing lol.

I give support and love to all ncgs and give your horror YouTube reviews views but I skim because all the stuff you review is nonsense haha

yeah, ravenous and quiet place are dope. i'm with uh-oh, i prefer more psychological horror than visceral ones. those thing do nothing for me and more often than not are corny as hell. although there is one recent one that i def fucks with call "The Eyes of My Mother". that one was pretty ill, for a gore type horror.

Ravenous is pretty slick, A Quiet Place I havn't seen yet, looks aight though...funniest horror type shit I ever seen was that Kiwi flick...think it was called Brain Dead, Dead Again or sumthin'? Idk lol, shit's gold.
