"The Headliner"

Undefeated! Signed up against his willpower: Baron Mynd, A.K.A, "sraL", has sacrificed blood, sweat, and tears to get where he is today. The Topical Prodigy has strong armed his competition for over two decades now & has his sights set on the pinnacle of the modern topical world, as we know it, once again. As far as I'm concerned, The Main Eventer will go down in Textcee history books as the most decorated Topicalist in the Internets Fabled History: Only if he can pull off a an Undefeated streak and capture the title in a stunning fashion on a championship run. The Icon has broken many of hearts on this stage. Characteristically shining his brightest on the biggest stages. Tip toeing the line between propaganda and prolificness: Baron Mynd's participation has added a much appreciated legitimacy to this competition. Climbing to the top of the ranks on so many different occasions: He can simultaneously get a rise out of you, all the while rising above you. Its been a long and grueling, whirlwind of a season for him, but he appears to have gotten his second wind. The stakes are high: Can Baron land a career defining victory, or leave empty handed?

"The Martyr for Society's Dysfunction"

Bar-for-bar, brokenhal0's gone head-to-head with some very big wigs. An outcast with a little over only 400 posts in 10 years? Brokenhal0's rhyme-to-free post ratio is among Netcees highest. Eight out of ten of brokenhal0's posts are writtens of epic proportions. Also deserves credible mention for being one of the more consistent writers in this leagues history. Boasting over 20+ battles without ever no-showing. Apart from his default personality and border line rule breaking, brokenhal0 means business, as he looks to continue pinning and submitting. The AOWL Season 9 Champion: brokenhal0 won it all, as a stand in. Since than, he's chipped away. A Championship Decision would erase any doubt that Brokenhal0, is in fact: a true champion and not a stand in. When brokenhal0 is hitting on all cylinders, he can be a handful. Will brokenhal0 get the ban stick or stick it to his opponent? Should be a clash!

Master Rock, 7-3
"Mid-Card"

Master Rock finds himself in contention for the belt after a highly uncontested season. Extending himself to a winning percentage: Masters Rock claim to fame is being in the right place at the right time. Master Rocks effort has been superb: up until this point. He's challenged himself on a week in, month out basis, and can easily seize this golden opportunity, to become AOWL champion, if he can bunker down and find time, he could very well, possibly pull out an upset. The only factor is his time constraints. Always a good sport, Master Rock can shed his mid card moniker and force Netcees to put some respect on his name, but that's only if he can come up with a big boy verse. Time will tell if the unlikely hero has what it takes.

NYCSPITZ, 3-3

"Parts Unknown"

NYCSPITZ is sort of shoe-horned into this tournament, due to unforeseen factors, and is now within reach of the coveted prize money. NYCSPITZ has had tremendous runs. A prominent battler, with more battles, victories and no-shows than practically anybody in the AOWL. Truth is, NYCSPITZ is probably more deserving of this opportunity than anyone in AOWL History. NYCSPITZ sometimes overshoots himself with profanity and taunting but when it comes down to lyrical combat, If NYCSPITZ can just leave his juvenile antics at the door, he could shake the ring rust off with the quickness. If he can make it to the championship, and a particular opponent makes it to the championship, we'd have a grudge match for the ages on our hands. Can NYCSPITZ run away with it all? Or get caught up slipping?

SZN XI SEMI-FINALS Predictions

NYCSPITZ (3-3) vs. Master Rock (7-3)

NYCSPITZ talks a good game and backs it up. Master Rock needs to bide his time here, and come through in the clutch. If either writer grabs a hold of there verse, there opponent must counter it with either pure luck or craftsmanship. While Master Rock may have the better record on paper, NYCSPITZ has the reputation and the esteemedness, on his side, so this battle could really make or break them. Question being posed is, can either truly find the gusto, this late in the game on such a short notice? Is Master Rock living under a rock? Is NYCSPITZ still spit-less? If NYCSPITZ embodies his persona as a warrior writer, his verses can run rampant. But, if NYCSPITZ gets goofy, he can be man handled by a better writer. The safe bet here is NYCSPITZ. But my gut tells me Master Rocks going to make a big splash here against NYCSPITZ.

Diablo (9-0) vs. brokenhal0 (8-3)

Both these fierce competitors have already dropped there piece onto the World Wide Web. It's lived up to the expectations! Brutally close, each competitors put everything they have on the line. These two always bring out the best in one another. Too close to call after one glance over. Some quick little tidbits here: Baron Mynd is currently 21-0 (dating back over the span of the latter half of the AOWL History Books.) A consummate writer, a helluva troll, President Lars to some, Baron Mynd to others: Revered in every sense of the word. His incarnation, Diablo was theoretically thrown overboard and forced to fend for himself. He's proven to be a very big fish in a small pond. Brokenhal0 is an iron man, with over 20 something-odd battles, and he has never no-showed, ever. One of the more rawer writers in recent memory. Less well known, with a smaller fanbase, but, very ambitious. Regardless of the outcome of this high noon show down, both writers have been a driving point for me to push this thing of ours forward. Whoever wins here will definitely have the momentum to win the whole thing!
