Joyous tears arise..

Moment.

As the heart's beat's skip...

I clench essence
Eloquence.
Happiness.
Peace.
Closure.
...
As my eyelids squirm
The sky fills with blackness
Opens with
Refreshment..
...
Angels of Heaven..
Passing a warm welcome

As I reached Heaven's gates..
Stepping into the afterlife.

okay, so I may be interpreting this completely wrong but how I see it is from the perspective as someone who is dying and cognitively aware of it. They seem completely aware of what is happening and okay with it because they have lived a life that they saw as complete and fulfilling. I dig it because it is different than the typical nostalgic, memoir type of pieces that usually are seen with this topic and the simplicity adds to it. It's almost like we are always trying to add some complex layer onto every big event in life when if we actually took a step back and looked at it from a simpler angle, this is what we would see.
I like it overall, nothing jumps out in particular but as a whole it works.

Gen, if you hated it, why did you feel the need to comment? You left literally NO constructive feed whatsoever, much like your feed on my other piece.
