Tyson Fury signs ESPN fight deal worth reported £80m
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/boxing/47280228
wack IMO i mean, good for him, get that money but it means chances are we aren't gonna see any of the exciting fights we could have had now they're all signed to diff TV and streaming services i hope we still get Wilder/Fury II and hopefully some other kind of Joshua/Fury/Wilder combination otherwise its gonna get boring real fast unless one of them gets knocked the fuck out unexpectedly and someone else enters the scene

I can't lie, I am not even the least bit intrigued in boxing anymore. Wilder/Fury had me a bit hyped but that's literally all there is besides Floyd.
MMA is just so much bigger now, I don't think Boxing can ever retake that spot. Almost like a too big to fail thing for the UFC, the shit writes itself. Dana just tugs on a string every now and then |

Fair, there is a lot of money to toss around.
It may just be me but I would rather watch an Anthony Pettis undercard than literally anyone except for like 4 guys in boxing. Broner was very intriguing and then he got his ass handed to him, They had to pull McGregor from MMA just to give Floyd a contender |

real talk, as a complete armchair occasional viewer of MMA, it doesn’t captivate me the way boxing does

lomachenko, wilder/fury/joshua (but only if they're fighting eachother) and then money mayweather of course if he ever fights again. the ufc has gotten a little too big for my tastes though, so i don't keep up as thoroughly, and bellator has a few guys too now, alot of the washout heavyweights for example. im wondering why they just aren't in the ufc still since the division is so shitty might as well have ngannou fight crocop lmao but yea there are like 30 fighters i would tune in for mma wise but boxing also never grabbed me. as a youth i remember hearing of tyson biting off ears and holyfield da god, which turned into me watching roy jones on hbo boxing a couple times, then a period of indifference. delahoya etc who cares. mayweather prior the money gimmick who cared etc. where as the UFC was killing it cuz the ultimate fighter drew me in. middle school/high school reality TV was peaking and that was the dopest. easy to figure out every fighter, their styles and backgrounds and feel you actually knew them. it was just better and still is. but long post over. lol
