to be fair, regardless of what actually happened and whether or not he acted in self defense.. there will be a huge backlash from this decision and racial tensions in the states will skyrocket, at least temporarily

thats really the issue we're facing now.

is there an outcome that you would have preferred? Did you anticipate inevitable doom either way -- or do you feel your fears/expectations would have been mitigated or lessened if he was found guilty?
