Really liked the flow in this. Also, some relatable content (to a certain degree) which I'm really appreciative of. The beginning and mid section were the highlights to me but I definitely liked the slightly positive/optimistic tone you ended this on as well. Wish it was longer, though.

geno, you're dope, i think your pengame is nice and you've got skills when it comes to spitting a verse, even if you're white (jk). i feel like, when i read your writing, though, i've read the same sort of verse from you a dozen times before. i'm always playing with language when i write so maybe it's unfair of me to criticize your admittedly polished style, but no shade thrown - just saying it how i see it. if a writer develops something of an obvious formula and continues to write in that style, it doesn't excite me.

all that said, this was tight and i vibed with it (more than i'd care to admit). good shit.
