I was right about hurricane Sandy....keep an eye on hurricane Alberto
the models are inconclusive as of right now given its position so things can change dramatically but it's currently following the footsteps of Sandy almost textbook in it's subtropical form as of right now. If this thing stalls in the gulf like Sandy did and gains strength, it's landfall could be at cat 4-5 being the gulf waters are currently at 84 degrees which will give it a hell of a boost around LA and MS. Storm CAPE numbers are already peaking for this system.
I'll be updating the thread with new shit when I can

how flat is it up there though?
outside of hail and some legit thunderstorms you shouldn't be in too much danger of a tornado, they can happen sure but something life changing or life threatening is only a factor in pretty flat areas i grew up terrified of tornados as a kid from TWISTER and there was always tornado warnings and sirens here, so that fear as a child translated to an interest and they basically only land in like farmlands, once they get into hilly terrain, or even cities they tend to die off because it fucks with the balance of them, the uneven terrain. so whenever you see the destruction from them its always like a random schools roof got blown off in the middle of a field or a trailer park laid to waste etc. they'll fuck up houses and shit too but word i wouldn't worry about it too much
