I'm not quite understanding this logic/reasoning, someone explain?

Probably lack of motivation/inspiration to write earlier. The same reason people do homework/assignments the day before etc. If there's a chance you can do the work tomorrow some will choose that over posting on time.

Basicly what it boils down to 95% of the time is laziness. Does that answer your question?
