• Extensions are 24 hours, anything longer is a DQ and/or Double DQ
• To avoid issues, you are encouraged to PM me your verse in advance


Line Limit:
• Min. = 14 lines
• Max. = 20 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both.


Voting:
• I do not have time to count links, and I know nobody wants to post them because it’s tedious. Do your part and vote or I’m making house calls.

General Rules:
• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
means you will disqualified.
• A check in isn't mandatory, but it is encouraged.
• If your opponent doesn't check in,
you still have to post a verse.

Yup. Again, a straightforward punch w/ clean wording & great execution.. not a haymaker by any means, but the fact that you're able to formulate these creative, well-packaged jabs so consistently is really impressive

Wasn't feeling this. The setup tied in to the punch well enough, but "keep the building suspenseful" sounded kinda corny to me & "edge of deceit" hearkened me back to those dreaded "defeat" bars. It's creative, so you get points for that; but as a conceptual insult/punch goes, I think it was a miss

A very solid punch, but unfortunately it fell flat to me as I used the exact same nameplay against him in a Fight Night Finals like 7 years ago.. not that anyone would expect you to know that. For what it's worth, I used it as my closer then, too

Overall, this was the battle I was looking forward to the most & it didn't disappoint. I knew Cash was going to bring it - the guy's been on a tear for almost a decade now & hasn't let up; he rarely slacks & even his misses would be considered quotables for most ppl. I had heard of Letterman, but never read anything from him.. & I'm glad I got the chance. He had some really sound concepts w/ great wording & execution, albeit a few angles I've seen before. Will definitely be looking forward to seeing more from him

All in all, I think Cashius outpaced Letter here; he brought fresher angles w/ more relevance & just threw volume throughout his verse. It's tough to beat that kind of consistency. Letterman's verse would be a problem for almost anyone signed in atm, but I would've liked to see him get more personal w/ Cash & go for broke. Cheers, fellas

Seen the Letterman play done alot before to... Same as cash nameplays on you... I've read tons on Letterman..n this wasn't one of the better ones... This still hit but felt like a jab
I thought the seams bar was cool... Not super hard but it was a hit..
Letter flow was a smooth hit... Wording was on point..

Overall this was a really close battle, and I can see it going either way based on who's voting. I think the one thing that really made the difference in my opinion was wording. Cash had some subtleties that were just more aggressive, and personally, I always consider how the full line is interpreted on both sides of the wordplay. I think letterman had at least two small hiccups that normally wouldn't make a difference in the outcome of a battle, but when a battle is this close, I really have to nitpick over the details to choose a side.

That being said, tua and compubox were both fire and lotb for me. Hats off to both for a great showing

The first two punches were nice. Very well-worded personals. Everything else was just alright but no real misses to me.

Letterman
The Israelite line was pretty good. The wording of the 'make it in the long run' bar made it nice to me. And the 'cold, hard cash' line was a decent nameplay to me. But the 'incest' line and the 'deceit' line were misses for me. Everything else was alright.

Letterman had more hits that connected hard, but he had more misses than Cashius as well. And of the bars that were just alright, I liked Cash's better. So I'm edging this one to Cashius.

MAN this is the closest battle ive read in a long time. Ima go w. Letterman for the following reasons.

- although cashius was more consistent, (slightly . 1 less miss. ) i think lettermans best bars were a step ahead of his. IMO. they resonated more.

i got letterman by teh slightest margin known to man

Yeah I am going against the grain here. I felt Cashius was consistent with jabs throughout but I felt letterman bar one miss an a bar I wasn't keen on he really had haymakers throughout. I felt the opener was fire, the incest bar was decent and compubox once.i clicked was solid. Closer was meh hate cash name.flips generally and wasn't overly keen on the 40 dash bar. Cash only misses for me were sadly just me not getting the references. It's a shame because this really was the slightest of margins and if those bars had not been misses due to my lack of knowledge he might have popped.this but just on the bars that hit for me letterman's were definitely more hard hitting.

First two were cool, but I've seen the angles @ RB. Opener was decent then next i liked a lil better but was a bit telegraphed. Wording ok here. Bust at Seams wasn't too much a fan off. Tua line was cool (had the idea myself lol) Handwriting was cool visual line, liked it. Didn't fk w/ the Wheel of Fortune line. It was creative idea but some reason I didn't think feel how you did it. Closer was good/worded ok. Standouts: Gronk, Handwriting Flow, Tua.

Letter:
Opener was cool, liked the execution here just straight at him nothing crazy tho. Israelite I've seen the led in desert seems familiar but made it better overall concept if that helped greatly for an otherwise old wp. Incest line was alright not bad a little long concept. Didn't like deceit. Compubox was dope. 40 Meter a bang hit. Closer was played to me/ not worded or flipped great either. Nice try tho.

Mad close & hard to judge here. Let had two heaters but at least two outright misses to me.....Cash had more consistency somewhat. Need to re-read. Think I'm going w/ Cash bc the misses weren't quite as bland to me.
