Fish is not poultry. Fish is fish, which, like poultry, is a type of meat.
Pescetarians don't eat red meat or poultry but do eat fish. Vegetarians don't eat fish because fish is meat. Alligators definitely are not fish, and alligator meat tastes most like chicken.
