You’ve all seen how hotly anticipated these matchups are, you’ve read the magazine and seen the battler profiles of everyone involved, you’ve watched the Lars video magazine which set the new fucking standard for anything similar that proceeds it. The time is now. It’s official, we’ve an entire card full of classics in the making and this shit is about to go DOWNNNN!!!

cool bar but this misses a little bit because of his veritas bar

damn this is a close one to me. i didn't really know what to expect from Chef but im a little disappointed that Sharp didn't come with more because i've definitely seen him drop more fire than this.

Chef had the opener, maud flanders, and his closer. veritas was close but a little too simple to quote. Sharp had the border cross bar and the stat tracker. the closer was close to quotable but his veritas bar defused it a little bit because he basically said he IS planning to take the veritas approach.

sharp you're my homie so i definitely hate voting against you, but i think you would have needed one more bar hitting to take this and unfortunately it isnt there from my reading. nice battle either way, but i got the chef here.

Aside from the spellin out of wordplay I was rockin wit Chef steez
A lotta violent shit always go over well wit the Goon...
Permanent mark I thought was one of those so simple it work perfect joints
Draw like veritas & kill a Maude was both heat.
Some others that were cool but either a little old or didn't have as much sting
Sharp started off slow. A lotta quality concepts but the execution wasn't there...
Picked it back up toward the end, Stat tracker was fire. Sherdog & Iron Chef were there.
Worst miss to me was from Chef wit that pay me respect shit, that was a throwaway
But otherwise dude came pretty consistent & his wording carried him too
Sharp coulda fixed those first few concepts up to somethin dope but as it is they were light

This was MAD close, but I actually gotta go w/ Sharp... it all came down to the who had the worst misses & I'd determine they were the loser. I really like what The Chef did here.. he had some heat.. but his lighter bars hurt him. Sharp was more consistent to me. I liked the Iron Chef & stat tracker lines alot. I liked Chef's opener, the Sharpie line.. that was his stand out bar to me tbh.. tho I liked the Kill a mod shit too. Iono, this was close yo.. but also I didn't like how The Chef formatted his shit in 2 bar segments.. iono why particularly, but I just didn't like it. Don't do it in the future, plz.. it affects how the shit reads, even if minimally. I found it to be an annoyance. Chef got bars tho.. he almost took this, but I gotta go w/ Sharp by a hair based on consistency.
