I'm honestly sorry I spooked you.
that's kinda just what monsters do...
whether we're furry and blue or dripping ichorous goo,
we're just here to collect screams.
seems kinda mean when I see it said...
to breach kids' dreams with a screech,
and, (potentially), make'em pee in the bed.
I mean, I see the sense in stepping away,
and interrupting while they're prepping to pray,
or maybe a nap-attack while they rest in the mid of the day...
maybe the light will leave less of them feeling afraid?
