Thought neighbors hull of a slave ship line was absolutely cool. The leading up to it was nice, and the obscure reference to a ships hull is actually quite a zinger. Also, the pirate like theme is awesome. I love pirates. Skulls of the vanquished. I read this verse first.

i think the term in is welcome was probably one of your lesser segments in this verse. but that just personal preference. the bar that big baby quoted was something fierce though. almost like you broke out for a second and touched the water. explore that more imo. you peppered this with punchlines for the most part and some were more effective than others but you are still finding a new voice after the time has passed its understandable...

you could improve the consistency of those if you stopped falling back on old writing habits and explored something new. its something I'm working on too..

I think thats one of the reasons I like and hate netcees though because you can see everyone in this thread liked something different since we all come from different backgrounds/sites that put emphasis on different aspects but give props to stuff I read and im like really you give props to THAT.
