I got people in my life that don't even talk to me,
if I said it didn't bother me, that wouldn't be honesty.
The demons in my head are constantly calling me,
maybe I should answer, perhaps I'm a prodigy?
If I gave in to temptation, would that be wrong of me?
After everything I been through on this difficult odyssey.
I've always been selfless so would selfish be odd to see?
I used to attend church but I think God is a fallacy.
I feel my blood fade to black, my morals lost at sea,
my heart rate sped up then suddenly dropped a beat.
When you need me, I'm there, or at least I ought to be,
but honestly I'm tired of the world that keeps wronging me.

palm-reading a voyage to the stars though the sand's quick to deepen
I've cut corners in vain. slap the wrist to avoid the pain
there's a slit i'll never admit to, at least the loud noises had waned
a thousand voices, the same, with little choices of frequency
it destroyed a piece of me. a beast, employing my regency
As a boy, i would frequent seas with a plastic pail, and a shovel
as a man, i'd see him drunk, plastered, pale and disheveled
Father was always escaping .. the day's detail was the devil
and when he revels in his cesspool, i'd sail away in my vessel
They say i can count on them,
But there aren't enough fingers to count the damages
Just understand this shit - you’ve all had a fucking hand in it.
