I just wanted to talk about a quality of battling that I tried always to strive for.
In the sense that I wanted to write disses that I could look back on in years and still think it was dope. Finding original wordplays and even flipping some stuff. I guess what I'm saying is that all the current ish, and lines coming from the general disc. aren't remembered in years later, that might get a splash in the week they are written but then they are basically shelved. I'd prefer to drop classic bars, or at least attempt to do so. idk

there's no twist its just a sentiment I'm expressing.. its about putting shit in your writing that's worth putting down. I remember a battle I had probably over ten years ago when I used to strive and I used to read thru the dictionary looking for words I could turn into wordplays and I came across 'gruesome' ..yeah and I did the balls/ you still aint gruesome punch. Its probably well played by today but, I had never seen it before back then. What I'm trying to say is try to be original and.. historical with your bars, don't relate to who the 49'ers beat this week.

there was what, 10 maybe votes on the battle and they said my line was the lotb.
this is ten voters on a now-defunct site, it doesn't matter, it resonated to them as a punch. My point is that is a concept that wasn't attributed to any current events, sports games, current movies or shows, it was just a flip on language.
