I didn’t really feel Creds verse at all. I’ve seen some of his stuff around and I get the Schlick is all gun lines, but these were pretty lazy compared to the other cred lines I’ve seen

Dave won with his opener alone, straight fire. But uhaul and coogi were also litty

I usually do a full breakdown but my feed for every bar is pretty much the same for you here: delivery is slick as hell and makes for a really enjoyable read BUT the concepts themselves were all pretty basic and/or old with the exception of the Rawn line which was cool. Actually the Bags one was OK too bc of the current event flip even though the pops wp is old. There's obvious talent here but mostly the concepts were lacking for me this week.

I never watched it so I had to google. For anyone else: the song on the opening credits of the show The Wire is called "Way down in the hole" and is sung by different dudes in season 1 of the show vs season 2 vs season 3 etc. Objectively this is quite good but I'm kind of annoyed by how long it took me to understand all the layers of the wp.

I like the idea but not 100% clear on what's meant by 'slide that back up'. I get it in the sense of sliding the back of a uhaul truck up but not sure what the other side of the wp is supposed to mean in reference to his girl.

Some of the lines were a little wordy but the punch was fire, I.e. the first two bars. Still, Fire verse. Almost quoted coogi too. Only line I really wasn’t digging was big pharma.
