Default Ray Rice... or... Shonn Greene?

yes my fantasy friends, it has come to this lol.

and it's very likely i am playing Shonn Green. Figure he'll probably have the same amount of yards behind C Johnson and get a couple goal line looks and pull in a TD against the Jags....

there's always that chance Rice has another big game in him this year, but i just can't do it anymore...

there is no chance rice has a big game unless the ravens change there entire run blocking scheme

rice is gonna have 12 carries for 28 yards. 4 receptions for 30 yards.

i dunno about shonn greene i've been slacking fantasy wise. but if you think he'll do better than that, start him.

no doubt uh-oh

i think greene's floor will be around that stat line (with fewer carries), but is more likely to get into the endzone :x

what happened to your boy dude - - you think it's the line, age or both?

im starting Shonn Greene this week as my flex. he will score a touchdown this week. im pretty sure of that. we have to hope for a blow out so he gets some real garbage time carries and puts up a big number for us.

if I drafted Ray Rice I would hate life right now. but you have to go with what works. you cant ride a dead horse. so I would start Greene mainly because of the juicy match up / blow out potential

No doubt -- i was able to fill the void through trades & waiver -- he's pretty much the only cancer on muh bench... i'd be locked in the playoffs vs. on the fringe if rice had done 25% of what he shoulda lol

QB- Rivers
RB- Lacy, Stacy, Ridley, Greene, Vereene... Rice
WR- Gordon, V. Jackson, Amendola, Harvin, Riley Cooper
TE- Gonzo
D/ST- Chiefs, Cardinals
K- Crosby

so im okay, for a 12 person league particularly, but still, dammit Rice.

Stacy and Lacy are a good RB combo. who would have thought?

I am also waiting for Percy Harvin to return. ive had him stashed for about three-four weeks, looks like next week he is a go. you gonna plug and play right away?

its the line

not the players fault, purely coaching

when they would maul over people rice and pierce looked dope. i mean people were calling pierce a poor mans adrian peterson lol

they are just as good now, the difference is the zone blocking schemes tho and the line struggles at blocking there assignments.

if they went back to just ramming it down peoples throats we'd be straight

Ray Rice will score two touchdowns despite Ravens losing. Rice over Greene.

Why'd they change the blocking scheme tho? I don't understand that.

Why fix something that ain't broke??
@uh-oh

word up - i agree man, good assessment

i think pierce being a poor man's peterson is a bit strong though lol -- or at least, there are other poor man's petersons i'd put before him -- but yea re: why their run game isnt producing, good shit..

do you think rice will ever be a first round draft in fantasy again though?

ITT i am a prophet

i gave rice the benefit of the doubt tho and some extra yardage than he got. think he got like 30 total lol

but word. ravens defense and flacco was too much for the bengals, and rice did nothing. i know my team to welllllllllll

and namix i honestly don't know if rice will ever be rice again

he's just as talented as he always was, our line is actually getting it together little by little each week, but for the most part i don't see it coming anytime soon unless they change there blocking schemes back and change the whole offense really

its pass first now. we barely run

i doubt he'll ever be good at fantasy again unless in a ppr league and even then, who knows
