I hear you Ed, I too have given up on local women, actually Australian women in general are woeful. I like my woman to be traditional, that's why when I was in Rwanda I got myself a Congolese woman. Not sure if I got her pregnant though, things could get very real in a month or two...

But back on topic, usually you will find like minded people doing the things you like doing. Example, if im into racing cars, chances are I will meet a woman with similar interests to mine at a race track. Maybe you should find your future prospect somewhere that you enjoy being. Just my 2c.

Here's a story from about 3-4 years ago. My level of indifference was extreme. At first it was fine even good in a way to be unburdened by meaning. Then I realized I stopped caring just to mask some deeper issues. This realization became very off putting. I engaged in more and more risky behaviors just for distractions from the realization, or for some internal response, but nothing it was always nothing.
