SUMMARY OF RULES:

Verses are due
Tuesday at 9 p.m. Pacific/West Coast or Tuesday 11:59 PM Eastern / 6:00 AM Wednesday Central European/London
There are NO extensions.

Verses MUST be a minimum 10 lines or a maximum of 48 lines (or 650 words).

Votes are due Friday at 4:00 p.m. Western / or Friday 7:00 PM Eastern / 1:00 AM Saturday Central European/London Failure to vote will result in automatic sign out for the next week.

All competitors must vote on THREE battles and post links/ references in the voting thread.

my exit from remembrance is
death and entrances
silver shrouded foolishness
judas with a kiss.

star-crossed… product of operations with constellations
wont bear consternation...its just urs a minor complications
drop impatient... divine winds of kamikaze propagate and
blow the comp away w/ haste to change the topic conversation
these incendiary storms... made to manifest various forms
incite each side to slip until they tip past precarious norms
won’t bear any harm against the kin to whom im guardian
won’t see empire in decline... or even recline like the ottoman
pyre flames arise. in a sense incense to the gods of men
stacked like odds against the fraudulent seeking audience
decades since the age of decadence when man was gaudiest
the plan expands to seek command of the lands of all against
in a season when tears spring forth and some are fallen
murderous hands clasp with prayers for a higher calling
the devils grip it tugs at heels and swears to never let go
as silent screams rings out from souls… i still can hear the echo
