the human plague, doomed ashamed, this was begging to happen
waited for word to break, this whole thing is in a circus state
time standing still is now walking with a nervous pace
regurgitate morality but that's the definition of a broken path
tunnel vision can't be 20/20 wearing a cloak n' mask

lifes such a circus act.. find myself asking where's the purpose at

This is a tough vote, fairly even in terms of enjoyablity (is that even a word?) You both utilized the topic well although Blas was a bit more direct, which worked in this case IMO. On the other hand I liked BB's flow slightly more, but if I'm honest, the fish ending left me scratching my head. It seemed like both were penned on the fly, which isn't bad if done right, and I think you both have some actual topical talents. But, when all is said and done, because these two verses are nearly identical in terms of mechanics and production in my eyes, the slightest mistake truly can, and did tip the scales.

BB's fish ending was sort of a cliff hanger, I'm not sure why it stopped like that, it didn't really fit into the rest of the verse IMO. Otherwise, two good reads, keep posting boys.

dope the straw stuck in a fish was a hot line, all in all real tight.. structure was clean but what shone was your vocab, very nice use of metaphores and real life narative.. dope piece dude flow hot to.. keep it up

very emotionally driven, it has alot of heart, really dug this piece.. structure tight but still loose to move around in.. very clean with a bit of a punchy outcome.. seems like a through and through verse with a personal element to it..

I was a surprise by this occurring, especially since I was under the assumption that this was going to be a no show battle and on top of that I believe that Blue thought the same. Based on my gut instinct, I believe Blue drop a quick no-show verse for the integrity of the league and felt that he would be able to edit it at a later time. Meanwhile, Blas took advantage of this opportunity and drop his take.

Besides that lets focus on the topic, Blue dropped extremely tight verse with a pattern that hit at every bar. Blue's opener was refreshingly creative as well as unexpected, which I appreciated. When I was reviewing the his verse and relating it to the topic I felt it had some components that related but in other areas I felt his verse fell off course. Blue's flow was also very on point. Now in regards to Blas's verse, the opener was not quite strong but it still was enough to peak one's interest. Now that the interest level is there, Blas's verse went into matters where the connection is made to what people are willing do for money and related that to animals (which I thought was quite clever). Then placed himself into back the situation of the topic nicely and ended it with a lesson to be learned. I enjoyed both verses.

However, If my vote was based on tightness of a verse it would definitely go to Blue. However, in regards to the topic at hand, Blas has this hands down.
