Week 1 is in the books and it ended up being an alright turn out. Although two of the spotlight matches were no shows (throwback classic/main event) we still had like 4 or 5 solid matches. I looked back at a couple NBL seasons and we are progressively getting better results each season with our opening weeks. This is where we weed out those no showers. Anyways, lets get on with this fuckin mag cause Week 2 looks promising along with some interesting match ups!






WEEK 1
BATTLE REVIEWS



ill nik-A vs Destroyer

The OG showdown end up being the only main event where both showed and they put on a show. Votes went fairly in favor of niks verse though. Both did there thing.

Slechtn vs Unfukwitable

I enjoyed this battle. Slecht just happened to run into a hot Unfuk verse. Still relatively close but Un won this pretty decisively.

Blanco Bishop vs Legion

This was another one of the few battles where both showed. This one was neck n neck tbh. Last match to get closed cus of how close it was. Both didnt have the greatest showing but both definitely show promise to the league if they both consistently show. Legion squeezed this one out here.






BATTLE OF THE WEEK

Goes to them dudes ill nik-A/Destroyer! They were the first to show & the only ones to both show for one of my special matches of week 1. These dudes both showcased that there old asses could still bring it & definetly gonna be a threat to the league. Props to both.

Two top tier contenders face off for week 2's match here. Both are HOFers and two of the leagues top heavy hitters and proved so by what they dropped last week. Allen with his dope name/word plays and ill nik-A's new swag in full effect we'll see who takes the cake here. This is definitely a match to see.

Aero vs Unfukwitable

#OhManGawdDamn this one is gonna be a hit here too. Aero pmed me his verse last week and tbh I was surprised, that shit was dope. He said the G.O.A.T is back. We'll see what he brings up against Unfukwitable who dropped some fuego in week 1 showing he means business.


Schadenfreude vs Letterman

Do I got some classics set up this week or what? Schad is THAT dude. This guys pen game is crazyy. Letterman went on a long win streak over where nobody could fuck witen on RB and champed the whole season. This ones definetely also gonna be a match to see here too.

Useless vs Destroyer

Ahh, another nice match up. I like what both could do. Neither are new to being in tough matches and showing up and out. I expect some nice shit outta this one tbh. Good luck to both.

Alphabet vs Maximus

Alphabet from what I recall was pretty good at one point besides all the biting bs. Maximus has been actively battling around the board as of recent so I'm expecting a good showing from both here.

CBA vs Jayson Fresh

The RMBVL Showdown. Im hearing good things about this Jayson Fresh dude. Hopefully the rumors are true cus I set em up with someone who he has some history with. CBA isnt new to NBL coming back from last season and tryna put in some more work. Lets see what it do..

Mr. J vs Lotto Smirk

This has the potential to be a good match here too if they actually put some time in there verses. Mr. J could drop some bars and so could Lotto. Lets fuckin gooo!

Suthaveli vs Blanco Bishop

Suth got no showed in that throwback classic vs kami but dropped sum barss. Could use some polishing up with harsher wording but nonetheless showing hes ready to go. I seen Blanco with some clean wording last week lets see if he brings the consistency.

Killing Spree vs R!canTheoryz

Bad Blood match. These niggas been talkin non stop shit to each other in the 1-2 chat. Lets see all that shit talking converted into bars. Get em!

Slechtn vs Legion

Slecht coming off a tough L to Unfuk will look to redeem himself but so will Legion. Legion definitely got sum shit its jus needs to use fresher concepts. Should be a good one tho with Slechtn tryna get his first dub of the season.

Chemist vs Defiant

Chemist dropped pretty decent last week. If he could find a way to word his verses a bit harsher/direct I definitely see him being a force. Defiant not sure who he is but we'll see soon enough, wont we?

Awww shit aka the fake aero. Dude is a alias of some sort. I havent reaally read any of his battles or atleast dont remember so we'll see what he brings. And I know Adonis battled in the 1-2 before but not sure how he faired. Anyways make it good both of yall.
