For now all eyes settle on Paul Negate's worldwide press conference
The eccentric billionaire profited off the latest developments
His makeup was melting quick, but why focus on negative elements...?
He chose a day of Independence to emphatically report on this live
"I have brung to light the largest unnatural resource of our time..."
All the while collecting bombs and uranium for the next life
This is how Paul Negate will forever dominate the headlines...
He led by over exposure, no surprise he wanted flashbulbs involved
After he pulled a pistol and blew his brain out the back of his skull
Media crews gasp and withdraw from this obvious news
As tall Men in suits grab Paul's legs and drag his body from view...
Paul appeared on the opposite roof like he made a deal with the devil
"Watch closely!" His voice boomed on radios at street level
People just whispered... Flashbulbs becoming nearly a picture...
Then Paul jumped... exploding on impact in a bloody aerial mixture
Covering the media scrum entirely under his latest blood geyser
Paul walked on stage smiling to unmitigated stunned silence
Unaffected by the violence, like he knew it was just a formality
He said, "I give you the next step of human evolution..."

'The Immortality Movement'; When proposed it was a political death blow
Paul hoped to a build a dome that would cloak the city in a red glow

"Perfect reflections are art; It's the Holy Grail, like heaven or mars..."
Paul Negate murdered and resurrected himself early and often
Becoming the most powerful man in the world in the process
"On this hill I cannot be killed, death's true cell is boundless..."

The Red Office

Paul looked at the skyline, the window still beset with some grime...
Approaching behind was his Twin, or the closest silhouette he could find
He glanced at his Twin's reflection, deciding to offer a hand out
"Loose grip..." he said, and shot a hollow point in the man's mouth
He bent down, knowing this Twin is far from resurrection
The bullet unhinged purple skin that's been charred in several sections
"That's such a shame," he mentioned, "Your makeup had a flattering base"
Men in suits barge in the entrance and take the cadaver away
Paul exclaimed, "Make a firmer handshake in the next Me, you dunces!"
"Lest it get me discovered, these doubles represent me in public!"
The Men in suits exit; Paul glanced at framed pictures of his Mother
One Positive, one Negative - The same image yet different in color...

The Dark Room

Rows of aliases are hanging dead center in some alien wetsuits
Bathed in a red glow and so lady-like they're basically menstrual
Each face a copy of Paul's... photo Negatives, a positive haul
Doppelgangers preserved and shrink wrapped along a brick wall
In constant withdrawals, broken and cut, mending from contusions
The least ready of recruits soak in bathtubs of chemical solutions
"When you snap a photo, positive and negative images are created"
Paul made his way in, "Basically we're derivatives of the same pic..."
"Cameras make a Positive image under ultra violet-type lights"
"But you can duplicate the Negative as many times as you like..."
"Every mind can unite; Hive minds are as fluid as nectar"
"The next sacrifice earns the group an extra human receptor..."

The Red Office - 2 Hours Later

The Chosen arrived smelling of the chemicals 'Stop Bath' and 'Fixer'
"Your makeup is impeccable," Paul whispered, "But you're not as I Pictured..."
It gripped Paul's wrist firmly, "I'd hate to disturb the 'host'...
It's superimposing... but I'm Positive I made YOU the perfect clone...
Touch my face, if there's Primer I'll go down to the basement to die..."
Paul brushed its cheek, yet there was no foundation to find
It lit a match, chemically dry from what it laid in at night
The stench hit the air, and like a lens flare the flames just ignite...
Paul sprinted to a mirror and offered his face a quick wipe
Exposing charred flesh, abrasions beyond the paper cut type
He thought, No matter what I Shadow I'll use all the makeup in sight...
