Welcome to Week 10, gents. We are now officially 2 weeks away before playoffs. The line up once again is much thinner, but every match is still important. This week, everyone has a topic based off a track from Nas' "Hip Hop Is Dead" album. You have the option to either use the SONG TITLE, LYRICS or INSTRUMENTAL as your inspiration to what you write. Whatever you decide, be sure to state it at the beginning or end of your story (if you're using a lyric from the song, be sure to quote the lyric). Too much freedom? Enjoy it. The road to the playoffs will not be so kind.... good luck.

Interesting matchup. Pent uP seems ready to compete and gets weekends to write now, which I think he prefers.

Arid has upset potential, but I'm not seeing it at the moment.

Mr. J (5-4) vs. UnbornBuddha (5-3)
I think we've seen this already.

Certain (7-2) vs. Soulstice (3-4)
My schedule this season has been unprecedentedly difficult: Frank, dead man, NYCSPITZ, CopyPat, Witty, Mr. J, CopyPat, dead man, Pent uP, Soulstice.

Storyteller (1-3) vs. timeless (3-5)
Both of these guys show flashes of potential more than regular showcases.
