but it's old, i find it tiresome, the daily pursuit

not even sure if anybody reads these or not
it's a feeling of community like burial plots, for
my negligence, neurosis, all the secrets we kept
cease and descent. i grew older on the day that i left.
hurt makes a human. that's my only belief
i've probably got enough to make an army of creatures
walking the streets, coughing, bleeding, hawks on a leash
waiting for their moment to fly. rest in peace.
