We’ll see you on the other side …
this is Ride or die, felt make-believe but it was plain to see I was flying high the skies alight right from the jump no sign of life with no one above things looking up, but then all of a sudden they’re coming at ya running faster than Forest Gump I'm on the run, rummaging fumbling, from the flight at the start to fights in the yards once the pressure come on this treasure hunt but the fire in my belly had ignited the spark was on the right trail but still wide of the mark the signs were alarming as I made my descent it was a demand to say the least, but a challenge to complete took the wind out my sails but still landed on my feet soon we battled in the streets making amends in taking revenge that was certain to start a chain of events a race to the end as it was prophesied spotted life, dotted I’s but it wasn’t what we signed up for some had crossed the line as shots were fired, missioned to stay aground and make it out from this toxic environment My circle closing tighter, tying up the loosened ends, the looting stemmed from losing friends with who we’d feud against and that triggered a desire to win the fire within doing the rounds like a recycling bin through hell fire and brimstone, we’re the horsemen, the reinforcements Duty called to proceed with caution meant the melees were simply blown out of proportion it blew em to bits, had to finish and shoot em up quick I was losing my shit! the man of the jungle trapped in a rumble soon I learned to shoot from the hip loosened abit, no doubt the loadouts made my character switch the damage created a savage in infamy a passage of history I’d chosen to write it’s sad what it did to me but it opened my eyes long story short this was short story longer than time the moments revived A warzone, foretold in the mode of the same old story bowing out in a blaze of glory soon, my life flashed before me.. all I remember, was a lethal-looking semtex that came towards me and with this lethal weapon id seen the ending through hindsight of a new patch second chance to be a better man too bad, I shouldn’t of moved back, but just couldn’t hide “ill see you on the other side, lads I’m in the Gulag,” |

Just wanted to say this was one of my favorite pieces this week. Dope rhymes and imagery. Digging the internal rhymes. Looking forward to reading more.

Yeah, MMLP is one of my favorite writers here. The metaphorical weight behind this is heavy af... the POV of a bullet can be found everywhere in this verse and it just blends in so well with the narrative that you could miss it if not looking. It really is brilliant stuff.
MMLP = future champ. (If he stays signed in haha) Great work here my man. Too many quotables.
