Due Dates:

• Verses are due MONDAY,
  July 14th 2014 11:59 PM PST.
• Check Ins are due FRIDAY, July 11th 2014
• Voting ends Friday July 18th 2014 11:59 PM PST.
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are 24 hours
• You will be GRANTED ONE EXTENSION throughout the Tourney. Any extension beyond the first will result in loss of votes.

Line Limit:

• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 16 lines
• Limit MUST be agreed upon

General Rules:

• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
  linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
  means you will be disqualified.
• A check in IS mandatory.
• Competitors should agree on a line limit in their check in.
• If no line limit is agreed on, then the 2nd person to post
  must match the 1st person's line amount.

Like the concept here. I think you could have executed it different, to make more of an impact rather then come off statement'ish.

OVERALL: Decent'ish battle here. Kin seems like he has the basics down but needs to work on more of a harsher execution and get rid of all the decoration (Bolding, Italics & Exclamation points!!!!), People here frown on that shit and some maybe ignorant to even vote against it. But overall, work on your execution of your concepts in more of a harsher manner and you'll be straight, bro. I think some of your shit came off a little too wordy which hurt the impact of them or made them come off statement'ish rather then insult'ish. Nothing I can really say about Karps verse other then wish he had some more haymakers in there but none the less a pretty consistent solid drop which IMO, gives him the battle pretty comfortably.

Kin: Ugh. That's not wordplay. That's various associated words in random order. And none of it is clever. You're facing a known commodity on this site. Why no personals? Nothing was interesting here. The generic lines didn't actually seem like punches. The only positive is that the cadence and rhymes were good. But this was not a battle verse.

Alvin Karpis: You got this on the first line. It was personal, accurate, clever and well-worded. Good work. The rest was solid, easily the best verse of the six I've read this week. Kindle and Atkin were OK name plays. The gay stripper thing was lame. But again, you won with the opener.

^closer could have had more behind it for the fat guy.

This battle was pretty one sided, no real match for Alvin. His opponent got pretty out classed, the wordplay wasnt used correct & it was random & all over the place.
