Jabari came nice here, a lot of fresh material that was written well. Blue you write so many bars and expect them all to come across as dope but that’s not the case. You should focus more on a smaller number of lines. At least make it a challenge. I have JB taking this comfortably.

Ok. So 2 of blue bayou lines could've been quoted but slytherin one the set up was written weird. The quoted part of it. & the chicken wing I almost quoted but it didn't rhyme. I'm guessing Canadian accent judging by bar black wrote? Maybe it's just me but the bars came across choppy, yet u can see what you were going for & it carries clever moments. Idk. Maybe it's just me.

This battle seems to be pretty polarising. I thought it was close.

In Jabari's favour is that all of his bars were 'cool' or better, whereas Blue had the Slytherin thing I was meh about and the chicken wing line I thought was just OK. In Blue's favor is the LOTB (although Supercuts wasn't far behind so that's not a huge factor) and the fact I only had to look up one of his references compared with three from Jabari, which does factor into the enjoyment of it. One other thing would be the creativity in the wordplay flips - he used a "like" one time, everything else was flipped in a way to get an extra punch in or enhance the effect of the line. E.g. instead of "ya Antacid get popped like that bitch had heartburn" it's "ya Antacid get popped - give her a whole new pain in the chest". That rates highly with me. Overall I gotta say I enjoyed his verse a little more, even if he was a little less consistent.
