It warms my heart to see you take some time out of your busy day to touch base on this.

We the staff are NOTHING without your feedback and cannot improve without your constructive criticism.

Rest assured we are well aware of this bad apple and are taking the appropriate measures we have at our disposal to remedy the issue.

We are hoping soon we will be blessed with the ability to delete freeposts/edit threads/close battles/have any actual mod powers at all really. Once that is in place we should be able to rid the battle threads of such willy nilly freeposts like your example above.
