Funding though my plan is to make a small beta for me to play over a recording and do a kickstarter joint

if it gets enough buzz I'll take the time to make it and hire some people

if everyone thinks it's stupid and not worth pursuing I will scrap it/give it to GOW to finish one day

Idk yet, messed around with UDK, UE4, CryEngine4 and Unity 4.3 last night

Leaning towards UE4 or Unity

I have only played the P4 fighting game, never played any of the RPGs and have not yet got around to getting the P4 fighter sequel

and I've worked around this idea for years now. I know it's a big task but I just wanna get the basics and enough to show what it's all about done so I can pitch to developers and what not

common confusion when I say skyrim meets gta

GTA elements are the theme, modern day, guns, gangs, crime, drugs etc

Skyrim elements are the gameplay. FPS. Open World. No linear do this and nothing else story line. thousands of NPCs with actual stories and missions to go with them.

I guess I should say more, Bethesda meets GTA
